Description |
NYCIF has provided a loan to Seaview Senior Living Corporation (SSLC) to support the construction of a 132-unit assisted living facility on a 15.4 acre site in central Staten Island. SSLC, the project developer, is an affiliate of the non-profit Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty. The Seaview facility is expected to house 170 residents and will be adjacent to a meeting and activities space and on-site overnight accommodations for visitors. The site is also in close proximity to independent senior housing. Once operational, the facility is expected to create 64 permanent jobs.
